It began the way most love stories begin these days: a swipe, a match, a first date at 519 in Walkerton. Both of them left sure the other hadn’t been impressed. But Gus, being Gus, shot his shot anyway.

What sealed it wasn’t candlelight or grand declarations. It was Mike Tyson, Jake Paul, and a Netflix stream that kept buffering at all the wrong moments. What happened during those outages stays between the two of them, but by the end of that fight night, something had shifted.
